Methodology & transparency
- Scope. Demo County Badminton Association (demo tenant), six BC-connected clubs flagged is_demo=true. No real participants.
- Coverage envelope. Frequency and KPIs reflect only members in scope; we do not extrapolate to the unaffiliated population. Sport England Active Lives is a separate denominator and is reported as such, not as a divisor here.
- Small-cell suppression. Cells with n < 5 are either suppressed (cohort retention, demographics) or flagged (frequency bands carry a low-n marker rather than hiding).
- Coach coverage. 30 km is the BE 10-year metric's drivetime heuristic. LSOA centroids: ONS Open Geography Portal LSOA_PopCentroids_EW_2021_V4; IMD overlay: MHCLG English Indices of Deprivation 2019 (decile 1 = most deprived).
- Programmes. Funnel stages are computed nightly from participant + session records; cost-per-outcome divides funding_amount_gbp by the relevant denominator.
- Bias-transparency disclosure. This is seeded demo data, illustrative only. Real reports include a confidence band that grows with sample size.
