My Invitations

The My invitations page (/me/invitations) is your inbox for invitations from clubs that have asked you to join. Every invitation a club sends to your email address shows up here once you're signed in — even ones sent before you had an account.

Getting There

Navigate to Invitations from your /me sidebar. The list shows newest invitations first.

What You'll See

Each invitation shows:

  • The club name (and the child's name if it's an invitation for a junior)
  • The membership type the club is offering you
  • The current status
  • For pending invitations, the expiry date
  • A Respond button (for pending invitations only)

Status Meanings

| Status | What it means |

|--------|---------------|

| Pending | The invitation is waiting for your response |

| Accepted | You've accepted — you're now a member of the club |

| Declined | You've declined the invitation |

| Expired | The invitation wasn't responded to within 30 days |

| Revoked | The club withdrew the invitation before you responded |

Responding to an Invitation

  1. Click Respond on a pending invitation
  2. You'll be taken to the invitation page (/invitations/[token])
  3. Choose Accept or Decline

Once you accept, you're a member of the club and it appears in your My Clubs list. Switch to it from the bottom of the sidebar.

Tip: Pending invitations expire 30 days after they were sent. If yours has expired, contact the club and ask them to send a fresh one.

Junior Invitations

If a club has invited your child, the invitation is addressed to your email (the guardian's). The card shows the club name with "— for [child's name]" so you can tell whose invitation it is. Accepting on behalf of a child requires that child to be in your family — see Managing Your Family.

Where Do These Come From?

Clubs send invitations from their admin pages — see Sending Invitations (committee article). Invitations are also created automatically when a committee member sends an invite based on your application from the public apply form.
