Entering a series and paying once

Some tournaments are run as a series: several sections grouped together under one entry. When you enter a series you pick the sections you want and pay one combined fee, no matter how many sections you enter. You are never charged twice.

A typical series is a doubles handicap tournament with a level doubles section and a mixed doubles section, both covered by a single entry.

Finding the Enter panel

  1. Open the series page (for example from a link your association shared).
  2. If the series is open for entries and you are signed in, an Enter this series panel appears near the top.

The panel lists every section you can enter, with the single combined fee shown on the button. If you do not see it, entries may not be open yet, may have closed, or you may already be entered.

Choosing your sections

  1. Tick each section you want to enter.
  2. For a pair (doubles) section, a partner search appears. Search for your partner by name and select them. You need a partner for every pair section you tick.
  3. The button shows how many sections you picked and the single fee, for example Enter 2 sections · £15.00.
  4. Click it to enter.

What happens next

  • For each pair section, your partner receives an invitation to confirm. Your place in that section is confirmed once they accept.
  • You are charged the combined fee once, not once per section. If there is a fee, you are asked to pay after entering.
  • You can see and manage your entry from My competitions.

If your partner declines a section, that section is cancelled for you and any part of your fee for it is refunded automatically. Your other sections are unaffected.

The finals night

If the series has a finals night, the series page shows its date and venue, with the section finals that will be played there. Each section also links to its own draw so you can follow your progress.

Withdrawing from a section

You can withdraw from a single section from My competitions while entries are open. The rest of your sections stay active, and that section's share of your combined fee is refunded. Withdrawing from every section withdraws you from the series and returns the remainder.
