Find a service

Find badminton service providers on Badminton Clubhouse, coaches, stringers, physios, umpires, referees, photographers, S&C coaches, sports psychologists, and more. The Find-a-Service page is open to everyone; you don't need an account to search.

How a provider shows up

Every provider gets one profile, one URL: /services/p/{handle}, that lists every active service they offer. So if someone is both a coach and a stringer, they appear once on the search results with both services on their card. Click through and you'll see everything they do on a single page.

A provider only appears in Find a Service when:

  • They've claimed a public handle on /me/services.
  • Their availability is active (or paused, paused providers still appear but show an “Availability paused” badge).
  • They have at least one active service matching your sub-type filter (or all of them, if you didn't pick a filter).

A provider can hide an individual service from search by marking it Sabbatical or Retired on their /me/services page, that keeps the profile online while temporarily dropping that one service.

Filters

  • Service type: coach, umpire, stringer, etc. Leave it blank to search every type. Pick more than one to combine (e.g. someone who offers both coaching and stringing).
  • Postcode + radius: enter a full UK postcode (e.g. SP1 1AA) to unlock the radius pills. Without a postcode you get every matching provider nationally.
  • Endorsed by at least one club: a soft trust signal. Clubs you've worked with can endorse you on Badminton Clubhouse; check this to hide brand-new providers.
  • Sort: Most endorsed (default), Nearest (only when a postcode is set), or Recently joined.

What “endorsed” means

Clubs with the services.engage permission can endorse a service provider for one of their services. It's a one-click vouch, “we've worked with this person and would recommend them”. It is not a platform vetting of qualifications, DBS, insurance, or competence, please do your own due diligence (see the caveat-emptor disclaimer on every Find-a-Service page).

Disclaimer

Badminton Clubhouse does not verify the qualifications, identity, DBS status, or insurance of any service provider listed in the directory. The endorsement signal reflects individual club opinions, not platform certification. Always check credentials directly with the provider and the clubs that have endorsed them before engaging.

What if I'm a provider too?

Head to /me/services to claim your handle and add the services you offer. Every active service shows up on your unified profile at /services/p/{your-handle}, which is the URL Find-a-Service links to. Mark a service Sabbatical or Retired to hide it without removing it.
