My Applications
Track every application you've submitted to clubs, see decisions, and withdraw applications you've changed your mind about
My Applications
Applications you've submitted to clubs live on your My clubs page (/me/clubs), alongside your active memberships and any pending invitations. Each engagement appears as its own card with a status pill that tells you exactly where things stand.
Getting There
- From the
/mesidebar, tap Clubs. - From your
/mehome, the My clubs card has a View all link, or the My applications row will deep-link straight there if you have at least one application on file.
How Applications Appear
Pending applications show up at the top of the grid (after any invitations awaiting your response) with a blue Applied or Waitlisted pill. Each card shows:
- The club name and identity colours
- The status pill: Applied (pending review) or Waitlisted
- The submission date
- A View application button that opens the full detail page
Applications the club has already decided no longer take a card slot at the top of the page, instead they fold into the collapsible Past section so the live grid stays focused on what's currently in flight.
Status Meanings
| Status | What it means |
|--------|---------------|
| Applied (pill) | Submitted, the club hasn't reviewed it yet (status pending) |
| Waitlisted (pill) | The club has placed you on their waiting list |
| Application not accepted (Past) | The club declined the application |
| Application withdrawn (Past) | You withdrew the application before a decision was made |
When a club accepts your application or sends you an invitation off the back of it, the engagement converts: an active membership card appears (acceptance), or a pending invitation card appears (invitation sent), so you don't see duplicate cards for the same engagement.
Application Detail Page
Tap View application on any card to open the application detail page (/me/applications/[id]). The detail page shows:
- Header: the club, current status, and the dates submitted and (if applicable) decided.
- Decision (when decided), outcome, decision date, and any review notes the club has shared with you.
- Your submission: name, email, age category, ability level, and what you said you were looking for.
- Junior & guardian details: for junior applications, the child's date of birth and the guardian's name and email.
- Consent: whether GDPR consent was given at submission.
The data shown is exactly what you submitted at the time. If anything is wrong, contact the club directly, they can correct or re-issue from their side.
Withdrawing an Application
If you change your mind before the club has reviewed your application, you can withdraw it yourself. Withdrawal is available while the application is Applied or Waitlisted. Once a decision has been recorded, or once an invitation has been sent, withdrawal is no longer available; in those cases, contact the club if you need to back out.
How to Withdraw
- Open the application from
/me/clubsby tapping View application on its card. - Scroll to the Withdraw application card at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Withdraw application.
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
When you confirm:
- The application status changes to Withdrawn immediately.
- It moves into the Past section of
/me/clubs. - The committee at the club sees the withdrawal in their applications list and is notified.
- You can apply again later, withdrawing one application doesn't stop you from submitting a fresh one to the same club.
Tip: Withdrawing is the polite option if you've decided to join a different club, your circumstances have changed, or you submitted by mistake. It tells the committee they don't need to keep your application in their queue.
What If I Don't See My Application?
Applications are filtered by your sign-in email address (and, for junior applications, the guardian email). If one is missing:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email you used when applying.
- For junior applications, you'll only see them if you applied as the named guardian.
- Very old applications submitted before this page existed might not appear, contact the club directly.
